West of Reserve Street between South Avenue and Third Street, one can still find a rural way of life. And yet, the Orchard Homes/Target Range area is still extremely close to schools, shopping, and Community Medical Center.
In the Target Range area, family farms are interspersed with new development. Two shooting ranges provide hunters and marksmen a place to practice their sport. Established in 1911, Orchard Homes Country Life Club was once the rural community hub. This neighborhood is also home to the popular Kelly Island fishing access on the Clark Fork River, as well as Spurgin Park.
