Pickleball

An addictive game with a peculiar name. Pickleball has been compared to a miniature version of tennis and an over-sized game of Ping Pong played on a badminton-sized court. The game is played with wooden or composite paddles and a whiffle ball. Some say it’s the ideal game, full of action and fun for all ages!

Register as a team or individual for our 12-week league starting the first weekend in January. Teams consist of 2 players. Individuals will be paired with a teammate. Each week, teams will play for an hour with a best two-of-three match and each game to 11. There is a substitute list should you be unavailable to play one week or more. The regular season will be 10 weeks in length with a tournament to follow. Tournament structure TBA.

Help Install Outdoor Pickleball Courts at Fort Missoula

Join us as we promote this new sport outdoors.  Missoula Parks and Recreation and the original Missoula Pickleballers are raising money to pain Pickleball court lines on some of the Fort Missoula tennis courts.  The initial goal is to raise $1,200 to pant four Pickleball courts on two of the existing tennis courts.  If you would like to contribute to the project, please email Ryan Yearous or call him at 552-6266. Thank you for your consideration in becoming a Partner in Parks!
