MCT Announces Summer Day Camps

According to the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), the forecast for the summer of 2021 calls for a windfall of Wonder Beans, days and knights overflowing with swampy creatures and powerful princesses, and an unusually twangy twister that delivers tarantulas and helps fulfill your heart’s desire! This can only mean that Jack and the Beanstalk, The Frog Prince, and The Wiz of the West are making their way to the
stage of the MCT Center for the Performing Arts, sure to cause outbursts of laughter, singing, and thunderous applause!

MCT is excited to host 6 summer day camps: Jack and the Beanstalk (June 14-18 and July 5-9); The Frog Prince (June 21-25 and July 12-16) and The Wiz of the West (June 28-July 2 and July 19-23). The day camps will be Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm and are open to students entering grades 1-12. Days of action-packed fun, music, and expression are what MCT day camps embody for its young cast members. All of the students will participate in a fun audition, receive a role, and rehearse the production. Camp/cast members will also experience the freedom of improvisation, the excitement of theatre games, and the thrill of performance!

The Missoula Children’s Theatre has successfully and safely produced children’s programs since early summer of 2020 and continues to do everything possible to ensure a safe and fun environment for every class, every day. Tuition is $225 per student. Registration is available at MCTinc.org. Inquiries may be made at education@mctinc.org.
