It was déjà vu all over again for the Griz basketball team on Tuesday night.
The Big Sky Conference tournament semifinal game marked the third time this season that Montana and Eastern Washington have gone head-to-head. Montana claimed victory in the first two match-ups, and Tuesday night was a repeat of the first two games.
It was certainly the biggest game so far for both teams, with a shot at the Big Sky Conference finals on the line. Montana trailed by five points at the half, but in the end, it was the Griz that pulled off the big 74-66 win.
With the win, Montana earned the right to advance to the finals on Wednesday night against a seriously talented Weber State team. The Griz-Wildcats winner gets to punch their ticket to the Big Dance.
Suffice to say, Wednesday night is gonna be a big one for the Griz! The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 7:00 Mountain Time.
