7,042 enthusiastic members of Griz Nation filled the Adams Center with chants and cheers as the Montana basketball team won an electric Big Sky Conference finals game against Weber State on Wednesday night.
Kareem Jamar and Mathias Ward put up some incredible numbers, each scoring 23 points, with Will Cherry, Art Steward, and Derek Selvig all in double-digits, as well.
It was the eighth time that the Montana Grizzlies have won the Big Sky Conference championship, and the third time this season that the Griz took down the Wildcats.
And, of course, the charm of this third win is that Montana earned a spot at the Big Dance.
They’ll learn of their opening round opponent when the NCAA Tournament bracket is announced on Sunday, March 10.
From the Make it Missoula crew, congratulations, guys! Show the world that Grizzlies can dance!
