Wanna Get on a Missoula DJ’s Nerves? Here’s How…

By AARON TRAYLOR

When you hit up places around Missoula such as Stockmans, The Elks, Badlander, or even my stomping grounds at The Elbow Room, you’ll more than likely find a DJ like me who is always aiming to please and finds pleasure in helping you and your friends dance.

What some patrons really don’t stop to think about is that these disc jockeys are actual performers who really are doing some serious work behind those decks!

And yet nothing grinds my gears more than to see someone try to get on the nerves of one of my fellow turntablists who are attempting to make your night special.

Still, if you really want to get on the nerves of the following local party rockers then feel free to use this helpful guide to truly get under our skin.

And remember, while these responses may get a polite reaction to your face, this is what they are honestly thinking but would never ever share these words out loud because they value their jobs.

So just keep this in mind before you interrupt the following Missoula DJ’s:

A Missoula DJ spins some tunes.

DJ Coma

Patron-

“Nobody can dance to this crappy music! Play something I can dance to! (All the while a dance floor is packed wall-to-wall)

What this DJ is secretly thinking-

“If you can’t dance to ‘dance music’ then maybe dancing just isn’t for you. I’m sure you’ll find something you are good at someday.”

DJ Ryan Bradshaw

Patron-

“Play some Hip Hop!”

What this DJ is secretly thinking-

“I thought I was playing Hip Hop. I was, wasn’t I?”

DJ L-ROCK

Patron-

“You need to play this song next”

This DJ’s Response-

“What do you do for a living?”

Patron-

“I’m a nurse.”

What this DJ is secretly thinking-

“Do I show up at your work and tell you where the thermometer goes?”

DJ BIONIC

Patron-

“You’re too hot to be a DJ”

What this DJ is secretly thinking-

“I know I was asked by this blog author to come up with a patron quote that really gets on my nerves, and it’s obvious that I am missing the point of this article, but I just want to share with everyone reading that I am one seriously attractive DJ.”

America's tallest DJ, Aaron TraylorTo say he is America’s Tallest DJ wouldn’t be far from the truth when it comes to Aaron Traylor. He clocks in at a whopping 6 foot 10 inches and has been the premiere source of the Northwest’s born and raised talent for 20 years; he’s a radio disc jockey at ZooFM, turntable mix master, and a guy who has a hard time fitting into most clothing.
