Attractions

Exciting excursions and activities in and around Missoula are never in short supply.  Among the things to do are taking in some of the area’s special attractions.

For those with children, a visit to the Carousel for Missoula and Dragon Hollow makes any day a very special day. (They’re great for kids at heart, too!)

If physical activity is what you have in mind, don your swimming suit and check out Currents Indoor Waterpark (year-round), Splash Montana (summer only). Or grab your skateboard and head to MoBASH Skatepark.

For educational buffs, spend a few hours at the Smokejumper Center, one of only two in the nation. Or while away part of a day at the Montana Natural History Center or the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

If an excursion is what you have in mind, a drive to Glacier National Park is just shy of 3 hours to the north, and Yellowstone National Park is about 4 hours to the southeast.

All these attractions and more await you in and around Missoula. There’s no time for boredom here!
