Do you enjoy working outside? Do you have experience as a Tree Climber and Trimmer? A Missoula tree service company is seeking a full time Tree Climber and Trimmer with their own gear. The job is seasonal and very busy in the fall, spring, and summer. The company is hiring immediately! Applicants must have at least 3 years’ experience trimming trees to maintain tree health. The employer will not accept trainees. To apply you must have your own gear, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The company is looking for an individual who is physically fit, agile, and able to lift up to 75 pounds. Applicants also need good customer service skills. The employer will conduct pre-employment drug testing. As a Tree Climber you will climb ladders, operate a bucket truck, work around power lines and other barriers, and operate tools which involve machine-driven blades. You will also have contact with homeowners and other customers. This is a full time position, with day time hours. The employer also requires that the Tree Climber work weekends and some overtime. A local non-profit building material re-use center is seeking an Executive Director to lead its thriving business. This position requires a commitment to resource conservation as well as self-motivation and an entrepreneurial spirit. The successful applicant must possess organizational vision, demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing personnel, including hiring, firing and evaluating performance. The employer requires applicants have experience and success in grant writing as well as familiarity developing and cultivating relationships in the community. Applicants should have experience working with a non-profit board, managing a business, or working as an executive director. The Executive Director will ensure the efficient operation of the store and its programs. He or she will develop the annual budget and operating plan, and manage human resources. In this position, the successful applicant will develop partnerships to promote reuse and deconstruction and oversee fundraising plans. Fire Season is starting and a government agency is seeking a State Direct Protection Fire and Logistics Specialist. This position requires education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in natural resource management or emergency management. Applicants must have 2 years of experience in Wildland firefighting. This position is the Logistics Coordinator within the Northern Rockies Coordination Center (NRCC), and is responsible for the planning, operation, and supervision of functional areas in support of Wildland fire suppression and other emergency-related activities, including hazard reduction, smoke management, and training.
