Another non-profit is searching for an experienced eligibility specialist. A high-school diploma or equivalent is required; an undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred but consideration will be given to someone with several years of experience in the medical field. Experience in medical coding/billing/AR/collections is required. Duties include assisting new patients with registration, assisting uninsured/underinsured patients in obtaining benefits for services, and certifying eligibility status as an AI/AN per HIS guidelines.
