MCT Presents Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS

Arghhh you ready to meet some pirates? Then come on inside the Magic Tree House with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT), as they present the musical adaptation of Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS. The performance will be available to stream April 10-11.

Pirates Past Noon KIDS is based on one of Mary Pope Osborne’s award-winning books from the Magic Tree House book series. Young sibling adventurers, Jack and Annie, voyage in their tree house to an exotic island full of pirates and tropical island creatures. Director Abigail Gilbert says the two kids are “captured by the mischievous Captain Bones, who forces them to find a buried treasure, and they must find their way back to the tree house!”

Gilbert notes that the energetic K-6 cast members are embodying the very spirit of imagination as they make the colorful fantasy characters come alive. The cast’s lively choices and eager expressiveness are weaving together a bite-sized, under 40 minutes, family-friendly musical that allows the audience to get completely swept up in a swashbuckling adventure.

Streaming tickets for Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS are available for $10 at MCTinc.org. The production is sponsored by Langel & Associates, PC;  Missoula Pediatric Dentistry, PC; and Missoula Current.
