Easy CBD-based Recipes You Can Make Everyday

As we move into yet another year, it’s safe to say that at least we can be confident about the advancements made in some areas. One of which is how much more we know about CBD and all of its wonderful benefits. For the longest time, the majority of people associated it with getting high, and this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Cannabidiol is extracted from the hemp plant and is currently being used in a wide array of products, both medical and cosmetic. The question here is, can it also be used in food? The answer is definitely yes. This is why we’ve found a few easy but delicious things that you can make every day with CBD.

This is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes that include CBD because it is really straightforward. If you don’t have much time, you can also opt for the ready-made brownie mix option and add the eggs, butter, and oil. The thing about anything baked is that CBD will go with it beautifully because CBD oil blends in perfectly with each of these base ingredients. If you want to do it from scratch, then you need:

  • All-purpose Flour – 1 ½ cup
  • Cocoa Powder – ½ cup
  • Melted Butter – 1 cup
  • Eggs – 4
  • White Sugar – 2 cups
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  • Chopped Walnuts – ½ cup
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • Baking Powder – ½ tsp

To add CBD to your favorite brownie recipe, make sure that you add in a couple of drops to the butter while it’s heated, so it blends perfectly.

Protein Bars

There are several ways that we like to regain some kind of energy during the day. If you like to smoke your CBD oil, then that’s one way to do it! There are plenty of accessories available these days that make discreet smoking a possibility. This is certainly one way to go! Another way is to make yourself a batch of CBD protein bars that you can carry around with you anywhere are well… and it tastes that much better too! What’s different about this recipe is that you can add hemp seeds for extra crunch.

  • Coconut Oil – 4 tablespoons
  • Protein powder mixed with cocoa – 1 cup
  • Nut Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Dates – 20 chopped finely
  • Cinnamon – ¼ tbsp
  • A mix of your favorite nuts – 1 cup
  • Water – ¼ cup
  • Hemp Seeds – ½ cup
  • Chia Seeds – ¼ cup
  • CBD Oil

Blend the nuts so that they are at a similar consistency, but don’t get them too powdery. Then add the butter, oil, and dates to make a sticky mixture. Line a tray, flatten out the mix to the consistency you want, and pop it in the fridge!

Think about any of your favorite salad recipes, and all you need to do is heat up the oil bit to add the CBD oil before you make the dressing. You can also add hemp seeds for texture, and there you have it! Think about mixing it up every time you make a new salad. Change your proteins, mix it up between cold cuts and leftover meat perhaps. Of course, there’s a wide array of vegetables to pick from.
