Griz Football Classics Set For Re-Air on ROOT Sports & SWX

Montana’s 1995 National Championship win over Marshall is set to highlight a 31-game slate of Big Sky Conference classic football game re-broadcasts on ROOT Sports and SWX Montana.

Including the ’95 championship, eight different Griz games will be shown a total of 17 times on the conferences two broadcast partners, with 16 of them being shown nationwide on ROOT Sports, giving fans their football fix over the next month.

The re-air schedule starts this Saturday, March 28 on SWX Montana with the rebroadcast of the Grizzlies 2019 win at Portland State where Samori Toure had a breakout performance with three touchdowns in his hometown.

ROOT Sports will begin its Griz rebroadcasts on Wednesday, April 8, and will follow that up with Montana’s 2018 Hall of Fame Game win over Sacramento State on Thursday, April 9. The Emmy-winning regional broadcaster will then re-broadcast at least one Montana game each week through the month of April.
