Thirty Artists Selected For River City Roots Festival Art Show

Thirty artists have been selected for the Juried Art Show on Main Street Friday and Saturday, August 24-25, during the 13th Annual River City Roots Festival in Downtown Missoula. Artists will display their work from 11am to 7pm each day.

The perfect mix of local and visiting artists will be featured in the show this year, including sixteen artists from the Missoula area, one artist from North Dakota, and the remaining artists from all over Montana! Products for sale in the area of photography, ceramics, fabrics, and more will be showcased by new and returning artists. This component of River City Roots Fest creates an all-around experience for appreciating fine art both visually and musically.

Produced by the Missoula Downtown Association as Missoula’s signature celebration, the River City Roots Festival has quickly risen to the top of Western Montana’s must-do-list. River City Roots Fest draws more than 15,000 individuals to the heart of Downtown Missoula for a variety of fun activities and exceptional music. This two-day FREE festival features first-class art and entertainment for both residents and visitors.

Headlining Music on Main is Grammy Award winner The Infamous Stringdusters and New Orleans Suspects at the Main Stage along with a fine art show, Family Fun Fest in Caras Park, and a 4-Mile Fun Run through the heart of Missoula.
