A full-time medical assistant/scribe is needed in a busy physician’s Missoula office. This employee enters information into an electronic health record and transcribes accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient. Applicants must be able to enter medical information and summarize in a clear and concise fashion. Work includes transcribing patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications; prepping charts, using scanning and abstracting information; and cross-training to other office functions. Requirements include computer proficiency with good skills in spelling, grammar, and keyboarding, and good customer-service skills. A basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is a plus. A Missoula manufacturing company is seeking a CNC plasma/torch operator. The successful applicant will cut parts for production, monitor quality and track inventory of all parts and raw material. This position requires operation of a forklift and overhead cranes for material handling. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, good manual dexterity, ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Experience in metal fabrication is an asset and previous experience using brake presses, shears, cutting torches, grinders, and computer numerical control equipment is a plus. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand or walk for up to 12 hours is also required. The merchandiser is responsible for setting product, ensuring placement; servicing, troubleshooting/repairing and cleaning products; collecting and reporting detailed inventory data; and moving product from the stockroom the sales floor.
