A school-based program seeks a behavior intervention specialist in Corvallis, Frenchtown, and DeSmet schools, to provide behavioral support to children with emotional needs. The specialist also provides support treatment with the direction of a licensed therapist. Required is a high-school diploma or equivalent, computer skills, excellent communications skills, and the ability to interact with students, their parents, and professionals. The same program needs a therapist to work in Corvallis. Positions are open at both high-school and elementary levels. Applicants must have a master’s degree in counseling or social work and be licensed or able to obtain licensure within two years of hire.
