Celebrate Kids’ Day at the Carousel

A Carousel for Missoula will be celebrating its 20th birthday on Sat., May 23, and the entire community is invited to be our special guests. Each year the Carousel gives free rides on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, to commemorate its Grand Opening and to thank the community for its support. We call it Kids’ Day, but everyone is a kid at the Carousel!

Kids’ Day 2015, sponsored by Hobby Horse Arts, will start off with a brief welcome at the Caras Park pavilion stage at 9:45am, followed by a walking parade to the Carousel. The Carousel will be open from 10am to 7pm, and will give free rides to all visitors during those hours. A Track Meet, originally scheduled for 8:30am has been cancelled due to lack of entries. The Track Meet was sponsored by MISMO Gymnastics and the Missoula Department of Parks and Recreation.
