Carousel to Host Unusual Track Meet to Kick Off Kids’ Day 2015

Hey, kids have you ever wanted to barrel race on a stick pony? De-litter critters? Toss stinky socks? Tumble tires? Play dragon tag or dragon drop?

The Carousel is looking for you to participate in our first ever Kids’ Day Track Meet, Sat., May 23, from 8:30-9:30am.  There is room for up to 50 kids, from pre-school through 5th grade, to gather in the grassy field to the west of Dragon Hollow for some unique and fun challenges. Participants will compete within their own age group.

Each participant will receive an official t-shirt and will collect prizes at each station. Parents of interested kids must pre-register their competitors no later than May 6, at the Carousel, or by calling 549-8382. Fee to participate is $12 per child.

The Carousel will give free rides from 10am to 7pm, and there will be a selection of special vendors and exciting activities to add to the festivities.

The Carousel is seeking volunteers to help with the Track Meet, and vendors who would like to participate in the day. Please call 549-8382 for more information, to volunteer or to sign up as a vendor.
