A hotel sales manager is needed in Missoula. The main focus of this position is meeting and exceeding revenue goals by developing new accounts and growing current hotel accounts. Duties included direct sales, key account management, new account development, and targeted account development. The manager conducts research, surveys, personal investigation and studies market place and territory in order to capitalize on the hotel’s strengths and competitor’s weaknesses and capabilities, and represents the hotel in the community. The successful candidate effectively divides, assigns, and delegates work to meet business objectives and goals, and is able to motivate and develop associates to their potential and create promotable talent for the organization. 2015 Career FairA resource conservationist is needed for a combination of field work and office work year-round. This position will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Natural Streambed and Land Preservation Act, implement district supervisors’ decisions, and serve as a liaison with the county attorney, Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, and other agencies, as well as working extensively with the public, rural landowners, and other groups. Duties include providing technical expertise to the public, program management in natural resources, and supervision of district staff. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in physical, natural science, or natural resources, with at least five years of experience in the natural resource field. An advance degree is desirable, as well as an agricultural background. Applicants must have knowledge of Missoula County and its natural resources and resource concerns. Duties include managing the production department, supervising personnel, and overseeing employee training; executing scheduled product runs; overseeing the maintenance department; communicating delays and status of production; and analyzing the production systems for weaknesses and implementing necessary changes. Requirements include at least five years of experience in production management, ability to implement and enforce safety procedures, ability to effectively supervise personnel in multiple work centers, and extensive knowledge of manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures.
