An education manager will coordinate the overall operation of an educational facility. This person implements systems for planning, record keeping, reporting and communication. The education manager  supervises, monitors, and evaluates teaching staff, assistants, and classroom environments. Applicants must be able to identify training needs, ensure implementation of curriculum, provide resources for staff and parents, and act as a liaison among staff, families, other program components, and the community. Required are a bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent of education and coursework, at least a year of experience in supervision or administration, and three years’ teaching experience in an early childhood education setting. A fun, outgoing, full-time, year-round preschool teacher is needed, with an emphasis on early music concepts and movement. Qualified candidates will have a degree or certification in education or a related field and a basic understanding of music and early literacy concepts, and can play guitar or piano or other instruments.
