A Missoula employer is hiring field assistants for geophysical surveying throughout the western states. Employer contracts to do mineral exploration for other companies. Experience and knowledge with gas-powered equipment is a plus. This job requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Analytical thinking and basic computer skills are required, along with hiking ability, a strong work ethic, and punctuality. This is a physically demanding job. Drug tests may be conducted. Employer offers septic pumping, potable water delivery, and portable toilet rentals. The service tech must have a clean driving record and be covered by the company’s insurance. Route/delivery driving experience is preferred, along with previous vac truck experience. Applicants must be able to complete pre-trip inspections and vehicle inspection reports, be able to drive safely in the harsh North Dakota environment, and have knowledge of DOT rules, regulations, and logging requirements.
