A full-time legal assistant/receptionist is needed for weekdays. Duties include clerical responsibilities, meeting docket deadlines and maintaining a firm calendar, document preparation, and transcription. This employee should be able to interact in a friendly, professional manner, have good writing and communication skills with analytical and proofreading abilities, be able to prioritize and work under a tight schedule, be proficient in MS Office, and be able to work with minimal supervision. JobsThe deadline is January 20 to apply for firefighting and fire management jobs with the U.S. Forest Service. These temporary employees fight fires, protect structures and perform other duties. They are jobs that require very good physical conditioning and the ability to work long hours in hot, dusty, cold, muddy, smoky and dangerous conditions. Work starts in May and could last until November, depending on the severity of the fire season. Pay varies by position and includes overtime and hazardous duty pay. ReadersA full-time conveyor belt technician is needed in Missoula. Applicants must have a high-school diploma or equivalent and pass a DOT physical, must meet federal DOT regulations for inter- and intrastate driving, may not have had a DUI in the last seven years and must be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Employer will consider training applicants with no experience to install conveyor belts at customer locations and to work with conveyor belts in the shop. Strong math skills are needed. Deadline is January 26 for forestry nursery workers. No experience is required, but needed knowledge is typically acquired through high-school graduation and three months’ experience in nursery, horticulture, farm, ranch, or other outdoor work. Most tasks are physically demanding and performed in all weather conditions. A driver’s license is required. Employees work in all aspects of seedling production. Pay is $10 per hour.
