This employee promotes the organization, using its web site, social media and mass communication tools. The director writes weekly articles for local newspapers, creates a bi-monthly newsletter and manages all written marketing content. A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required, with two or more years of experience in customer relations, professional writing, graphic design and data management. A Missoula area school district seeks a business manager / district clerk to direct and coordinate district-wide financial management activities. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or a finance-related field is preferred, along with experience with school finance and payroll. Wage is $35,000-$40,000 per year. A forestry worker is needed at the state nursery. No experience is necessary, but at least 3 months in nursery, horticulture, farm, ranch, or other outdoor work is preferred. A high level of fitness is required, including the ability to repetitively lift 60 pounds. Duties include lifting and grading bare-root seedlings, thinning containerized seedlings, packing seedling orders, weeding beds, making cuttings, cone processing, moving irrigation pipe, inventory, and collecting seeds. They must also have a year of experience, a Montana driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay is negotiable.
