A home-health agency is hiring an independent, motivated, self-disciplined, licensed RN or LPN to assist in providing one-to-one compassionate care in consumers’ homes, following home-care plans tailored to the individuals’ needs. Requirements include good communication skills, the capability to lift 75 pounds, a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle to travel to patients’ homes, and the ability to pass a background check and physical evaluation. This is Monday through Friday and every other weekend, 40 hours per week, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with some shifts from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Pay is $20.50 for an RN; $17.25 for an LPN, with benefits and in-service training. Outstanding customer-service skills, experience with clippers and scissors, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for lengthy periods is required. Candidates must be dependable, have effective and professional communications skills, enjoy working with animals and must be available to work from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., long-term.
