Lydia Brown and Robin Scott in Concert at MAM Dec. 13th

The Missoula Art Museum is pleased to announce the launch of its Chamber Music Series, which will expand the boundaries of the traditional concert going experience, and attract new listeners to classical music. The Museum’s superb acoustics and intimate setting coupled with acclaimed musicians, Lydia Brown and Robin Scott, will ensure a memorable evening. Ms. Brown will be playing MAM’s magnificent Yamaha Grand Piano donated to the Museum by Sophia and Dan Lambros in 2010.

At the Chamber Music Concert on December 13, 2013, Lydia Brown, pianist, and Robin Scott, violinist will perform works by Mozart, Debussy, Michael Brown, Janáček and Dvorak. Mr. Scott, prizewinner of the Irving Klein, Stulberg, and Yehudi Menuhin International competitions, has performed worldwide as both soloist and chamber musician. He has appeared at the Library of Congress, Weill Hall, Jordan Hall, and the Marlboro Music Festival. Ms. Brown has appeared in recital at the 92nd St. Y, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Kennedy Center.
