Run for the Trees, 5K/1 mile Fun Run/Walk – Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m.
Door prizes, costume contest, awards for top finishers, medals for all 1-mile runners under 12.
Register by April 8 at Currents Aquatics Center or online.
Celebrate Arbor Month this April with a fun run/walk along the Riverfront Trail beginning and ending at McCormick Park. All racers receive a full-color tee featuring Mary Beth Percival’s “Greenough Park” and a tree seedling to plant. Celebrity judges Smokey Bear and Sprig the Squirrel will be awarding fun prizes for the outdoors/nature/trees costume contest.

Run or walk for homeless animals, Riverfront Trails and McCormick Park
Includes Doggie Dash expo from 1pm to 4pm, t-shirt, bandana for your dog

Join Parks & Recreation and the City-County Animal Control at the 2nd annual celebration for your four-legged friend. Includes the free Doggie Dash expo, a 1 mile fun run/walk for all ages and abilities, and a 5K fun run/walk for the distance dogs. Expo features dog walkers, sitters, groomers, boarders, retailers, veterinarians and much more!
