Missoula Public Markets and 39th Annual YMCA Riverbank Run

What is a “Make it Missoula Moments”?  It’s our way of giving a shout out to worthwhile NON-PROFITS and their events and happenings around Missoula.  If your non-profit organization has an event that you’d like to submit for consideration, contact us here.

This weekend, Downtown Missoula will come alive with Saturday openings of the Missoula Public Markets:

  • Clark Fork River Market, (8am-1pm), located on the Riverfront adjacent to the Bank Street Parking Structure and the Higgins Ave. Bridge, featuring local and fresh meat, produce and other artisan products
  • Missoula Farmer’s Market (8:30am-12pm), located at Circle Square on N. Higgins Ave. featuring produce, flowers and baked goods
  • Missoula Saturday Arts & Crafts Market (9am-1pm), located on East Pine Street and featuring handmade and artisan craft products

Additionally, the 39th annual YMCA Riverbank Run will take place on Saturday as well, beginning at the corner of Higgins Ave. and Broadway at 9am. Heading south, Higgins will be closed intermittently for the start of three races: 10K at 9am, 5K at 10:30am, and a 1 mile (their biggest race) at 11:20am. The Riverbank Run alone is expected to draw between 3000-4000 participants.
