Besides the Missoula County Public Schools district which serves the majority of Missoula elementary, middle, and high school students, there are several independent K-12 school districts in the area.
These districts include Bonner, Clinton, DeSmet, Lolo, Target Range, and Hellgate schools. Students in these elementary districts feed into the MCPS system in high school.
