Make a Splash – At Splash Montana

With summer finally here, taking a splash in cool water sounds great! With rivers running way too high to be safe, the best way to enjoy outdoor water fun in Missoula is to head on over to Splash Montana.

No longer home to “just” a pool, Splash Montana is a full-fledged outdoor water park. There are three separate three-story waterslides and a “lazy river” float that has a wild river branch for the more adventurous. You will also find a floating play structure, spray features, and the Grizzly slide for younger kids. Oh, and let’s not forget The Lake. The Lake boasts an Olympic-sized  pool and lap lanes (both 50-meter and 25-meter lanes), and is also home to water sports like water polo and pool versions of volleyball and basketball.

There is a children’s area with a zero-depth entry where small children can gradually walk in and get used to the water at their own pace. The Grizzly slide is also perfect for smaller children ages 2 and up.

With plenty of lounge chairs, sun shades, family locker rooms, and yummy treats from the Crazy Creek Café, Splash Montana is fun for the whole family, whether you go in the water or not. After work, bring the whole family down for the Crazy Creek’s Feast At 5 Dinner Special, a piping hot pizza and four drinks for only $13.

Splash Montana is currently open first-come first-serve up to 800 people, in two sessions per day. Monday through Friday, the sessions are 11:00-3:00, and 3:30-7:30. Saturday and Sunday, our sessions are 11:00-2:00 and 2:30-5:30.
