Missoula’s Northside and Westside neighborhoods have a shared and storied history of another era when a stroll would have been punctuated by the whistle of a train and tradesmen opening up shop.
Today, they are both undergoing a renaissance with the historic homes in the area being joined by new building that has brought a diversity of architectural styles into this vibrant, eclectic neighborhood. The Northside/Westside’s close proximity to downtown, its historic flavor, and a renewed sense of community are attractive features of these historic and evolving neighborhoods.
