Wildland firefighters are needed immediately to man Type 3, 4, and Type 6 engines, weed wash station, air-ops trailer, and mobile fill station. The same employer is looking for engine bosses to man Type 6 engines. Applicants must have all credentials on paper, including 2016 standards refresher and pack test. Pay begins when truck is dispatched to fire and ends when you return and park truck in driveway. Pay is $350 per day. This is job #10188659.

Also needed is a fuel truck driver with a current Class B CDL with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements, current DOT medical card, and 2016 standards of survival training (RT-130, 8 hours). This job requires the ability to lift 75 pounds. This position dispenses fuel from fuel truck to various trucks and equipment, keeps the fuel truck full – either calling for refueling or driving to refuel, and is responsible for detailed paperwork and extensive paper logs. Must have legible handwriting. Wage is $175 to $350 per day. This is job #10188662.

Finally, a water tender truck operator is needed with a current CDL with tanker endorsement and DOT medical exam, FFT2 credentials, and 2016 standards of survival, or the ability to get these. The operator drives the truck/sprayer to fill firefighting engines, sprays roads for dust abatement, and distributes potable water to fire camps. Pay is $175 – $350 per day. This is job #10188664.

A junior recreation facilitator must be motivated, energetic, and mature to work with youth outside during the summer. Previous experience working with youth is required. Applicants must have or be able to obtain child and adult CPR certification and First Aid before beginning work with children. This position facilitates comprehensive recreational youth camp programs for children ages 3-12. Pay is $8.25 per hour. Work begins June 10 and continues through August 26. Ask about job #10205281.

A welder is needed to provide both TIG and MIG welding with an emphasis on horizontal and vertical welds on thin wall aluminum and chromoly tubing. Position includes potential jig research and development with the fabrication manager, as well as finalization and maintenance of production jibs. Some bending, coping, and prepping of materials for production is included and requires working with manufacturing equipment that includes a lathing mill, drill press, and bending and coping machinery. A Missoula lawn care company needs mow crew members. They must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience working on a mowing crew. Hours are on weekdays and some Saturdays. Salary is $9 to $11.50 per hour, depending on experience. Ask about job #10203974.

Hotel housekeepers are needed to work part-time to full-time. Experience is preferred. Applicants need good customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work well with others and independently, and must be able to work weekends.
