UM Spring Percussion Concert (ROCK/JAZZ) at the Dennison Theater

Description: The Spriing Percussion Concert will feature the music of Art Rock from the 1970’s and 1980’s with arrangements of Emerson, Lake & Palmer’s TARKUS album and LABYRINTH by Kit Watkins of the group “Happy The Man.” The concert will also feature a premier performance of “Starlight” by senior composition major Mack Gilcrest and Christopher Rouse’s percussion “tour de force” OGOUN BADAGRIS. The concert will conclude with the uplighting sounds of the Islanders Steel Band. See you there!
