Transforming Health Care: The Healthy Heart

Providence Health & Services—Western Montana is sponsoring a free community talk on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. called Transforming Health Care: The Healthy Heart. Led by cardiac professionals from the International Heart Institute of Montana, the event will help you learn about cardiovascular health and the latest strategies for preventing heart disease, as well as what you need to know if you suffer from a cardiovascular condition.

Presenters:                       

  • Matt Maxwell, M.D., cardiovascular surgeon
  • Alex Jehle, M.D., non-invasive cardiologist, specializing in cardiac imaging, and president of the IHI
  • Deb Sybrant, PA-C, certified physician assistant, and medical director of the Women’s Heart Health Program at the IHI.

The event will be held at the Broadway Building Conference Center at 500 W. Broadway in Missoula. The moderator is Sally Mauk, News Director Emerita of Montana Public Radio.
