Raising the Dead (ROCK) at the Top Hat Lounge

Description: Every Monday from 5 PM to 7 PM, the Top Hat will host Missoula Deadheads for two hours of live Dead music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The two hours will be curated by local Dead experts.

We host everything from traditional, to modern, to Gypsy Jazz. Join us for dinner or drinks while listening to some great music.

After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

Description: The Kenny James Miller Band is an all-original Northwest US Regional Rock/Blues band located in Montana. A trio of professional, accomplished musicians capable of opening or sharing a stage with any top band.

KJMB received the Inland Empire Blues Society 2011, “Best New Blues Band” Award; Mark Cornett received “Best Blues Bass Player, IEBS Awards, 2012 and 2013; Winners of the Spokane, WA Regional Semi-Final Competition for the 2011 Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge; Shared the stage with Robin Trower in 2011 and many other National Bands; “Can’t You Hear Me” was chosen to be aired on Blues Deluxe Radio, a nationally syndicated radio show. KJMB has been chosen to perform in a Montana PBS program, “11th and Grant” will air sometime between February and May 2015.

Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., May 2 through October 31, 2015.
Tuesdays 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., July 7 through September 22, 2015.
Performers will be scheduled on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Market opens with fresh local produce, flowers, baked goods and coffee provided by over 100 vendors. Located in Circle Square (at the north end of Higgins Avenue – by the XXX’s) the market will feature early spring vegetables, bedding plants and a wonderful social atmosphere.
