Folf (Disc Golf) in the Parks Starts April 7 at Silver Park

Join Parks and Recreation and the Garden City Flyers for a free, family-friendly round of Disc Golf. Never played Disc Golf before?  Garden City Flyers volunteers and Parks staff will be happy to help you learn the basics. If you like walking in the parks with your friends and family, you will love adding the fun of throwing a disc at a challenging target.

Disc Golf is played much like traditional golf but with a flying disc instead of a ball and clubs. Players start at a tee box and try to get their disc into a basket in the fewest throws possible. Whether you want to compete with your friends or try a new family activity, you will have a great time playing one of Missoula’s favorite outdoor sports.

We’ll create challenging but kid-friendly 9-hole courses in a different city park each week. Bring your own discs, or borrow them from your friendly Folf in the Parks staff. Check out our website www.missoulaparks.org for weekly locations and directions.

Spring Session : Tuesdays, 5-7pm, April 7 – May 26.

Program is free, no pre-registration necessary.
