The Missoula Summer Dance Intensive is an adult-level contemporary dance technique, choreography, and dance improvisation training in Missoula.
Visiting guest choreographer, Zoe Scofield from Seattle along with her artistic collaborator, Juniper Shuey have “produced some of the most impressive dance/visual spectacles to come out of Seattle in recent years,” says Michael Upchurch of the The Seattle Times.
The Downtown Dance Collective has brought Scofield to Missoula to teach an intensive technique to repertory. Also offered are courses on Improvisation in Performance, Intermediate Technique, and Contact Improvisation. A performance will take place Saturday August 16, at 7:30pm at the DDC– 121 W Main as part of the Missoula Fringe Festival.
