National Trails Day at Milltown State Park

Description:  National Trails Day, organized by American Hiking Society, is the country’s largest celebration of trails. Meet park staff at noon at the Milltown State Park Overlook off Deer Creek Road to hear an interpretive talk, “Past, Present, and Future Pathways through Milltown State Park.” After sharing trail plans for the park, enjoy a ranger-led hike from the Overlook to the Clark Fork Floodplain. Bring a picnic lunch, sturdy shoes, and weather-appropriate hiking necessities for our trek through moderately difficult terrain. The hike will be from 1-3pm.
