If you have mechanical aptitude or related skills, an outdoor equipment repair company is willing to train for a mechanic technician job. This full-time, year-round position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Also required are customer-service skills, ability to multi-task and be part of a working team, and computer literacy. Experience in repairing lawn equipment is preferred. A tree service, such as comprehensive tree care services in Lake Oswego, needs a tree climber and trimmer with their own gear. This job is seasonal and very busy in the spring, summer and fall. Applicants must have at least three years of experience trimming trees. This employee climbs ladders and related equipment, operates a bucket truck, works around power lines and other barriers, and operates tools that have machine-driven blades. Job requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. A CDL is a plus. Employees must be physically fit, agile and able to lift up to 75 pounds, with good customer-service skills.
