Doggie Dash Pet Expo and Fun Run: May 18, 2014

Missoula Parks & Recreation and Missoula Animal Control invite you and your four-legged buddy to the 3rd annual Doggie Dash pet expo and fun run on Sunday, May 18 at McCormick Park. The pet expo is from 11 a.m. to 3pm, the 1-mile run/walk starts at 12 p.m., and the 5k run/walk starts at 12:30 p.m.

The Doggie Dash Expo features an agility course, groomers, trainers, dog walkers, boarders, pet retailers, veterinarians and much more. Watch agility training demonstrations by Sit Happens! and meet the featured dogs up for adoption from local shelters. Don’t miss out on a day dedicated to your best friend. The expo is free, but donations to Missoula Animal Control are greatly appreciated.

Doggie DashRunners and walkers may enter one or both races; all paid racers receive a travel pet bowl and doggie flying disc. Kids 10 and under may race for free, but must pre-register.

Register for the 1-mile and/or 5k race by May 10 for the lowest entry fees—$20 per person and 1 dog, and extra dogs (up to two) are $2 each. Race registration from May 11 to May 17 is $25. Race day registration is $35.All dogs must be leashed. Proceeds benefit homeless pets at Missoula Animal Control.
