A Resource Specialist is needed to link people with resources, provide information on services, maintain electronic and manual resource files, help resolve complaints, and advocate for long-term care facilities. This job requires a bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology or gerontology and two years of relevant experience or an equal combination of education and experience and volunteer work. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required. This full-time job pays $14.30 to $14.50 per hour, plus mileage. A local area employer needs an Entry Level Painter. This is an on-the-job training position and doesn’t require painting experience. Duties include interior and exterior home painting. Some staining work may also be needed. This job requires working on ladders and scaffolding, a current driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work sites. Dependable, hard-working and punctual workers are needed. The work week is mostly Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wages start at $12 per hour. A full-time job has opened for a Training Coordinator / Data Manager for a local addiction services organization. This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree, some related coursework and at least one year of directly related, progressively responsible technical/administrative experience. This employee organizes committee meetings and training, acts as liaison between the organization and other agencies, sets up clients in the billing system, maintains a database, and performs normal office functions. A driver’s license and reliable transportation is necessary. Salary is $13 per hour plus generous benefits.
