It’s Make it Missoula Monday.  Each week, Trail 103.3 DJ, Robert Chase, shares his picks of the week for Missoula happenings.  You can hear him discuss them on-air each Monday at 9:00 am.  Here’s what’s happening this week:

 

Monday 4/29

  • International Wildlife Film Festival with Film Screenings at the Roxy Theater.  Check the IWFF website for more information
  • Monday Movie night at the Top Hat – Featuring a rescreening of one of the films shown over the weekend at the International Wildlife Film Festival. Doors open at 6pm , Film at 7pm.  FREE
  • Russ Nassset at the Redbird Wine Bar – 7 pm

Tuesday 4/30

  • International Wildlife Film Festival gets underway at 3:00 PM at The Roxy Theater with Tiger Island
  • IWFF Lifetime Achievement Award For Media 6:00 pm, UC Theater
  • Book Reading & Signing at Fact and Fiction – 6:30pm with Author Todd Wilkinson who’ll read from his newest book, Last Stand: Ted Turner’s Quest to Save a Troubled Planet.
  • Community Tap Night at Tamarack Brewing Company – .75 cents of every pint purchased between 6-9pm are given to Spirit at Play–a premiere Missoula area preschool with an emphasis on sustainability.
  • Todd Snider in concert at Stage 112; 21+ Doors open at 8pm show starts at 9pm; $25; limited capacity – seated show.

Wednesday 5/1

  • More International Wildlife Film Festival.  Check the IWFF for showings.
  • Community U-Nite at the KettleHouse North side Tap Room; 5pm. They donate .50 cents per beer to the Organization of the night.
  • Lunafest at the Wilma Theater; 5:30pm.  LUNAFEST is a nationally-touring film festival that showcases short films by, for and about women brought to Missoula by the YWCA Missoula’s GUTS! program to raise fund scholarships for GUTS! summer wilderness adventures for girls ages 9 to 18 whose families can’t afford the $350 fee.
