Are you interested in a physically demanding job that allows you to see a new and beautiful part of the world? A corporation based in Seattle, Washington is seeking Fish Processors to work at sea on Factory Trawlers presently fishing in the Bering Sea off the coast of Alaska. The work is fast paced, intense, and very difficult. The employer requires a high level of production. Applicants must be able to lift 45 to 60 pounds repeatedly, and must be at least 18 years old according to the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act for hazardous occupations. Applicants must be available and ready to work the full duration of the contract (75 days). In addition, the employer requires that applicants have recent work history in a physically demanding job. Applicants need to be able to work 16 ½ hours per day, 7 days per week for the full contract period. Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing aboard the vessel. As a Fish Processor, you will perform all aspects of work to catch and process fish in the Bering Sea off the coast of Alaska. Wages are paid as a percentage of the catch. A Missoula employer is seeking an experienced full-time Adult Education Secretary. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Applicants must have prior office experience, including the operation of standard office equipment, word processing, and using spreadsheets and electronic mail software. The employer also requires individual possess skills in customer service, communication, basic mathematical computation, organization and multi-tasking, and social media. Applicants must be able to type 60 words per minute. The Adult Education Secretary will assist the Adult Education Director and Supervisor with problem solving for facilities, classes, instructors and textbook issues. He or she will maintain files, balance the bookstore cash register, develop and update brochures and flyers, and assist instructors and students.
